This page is dedicated to my Obsessions: Sailor Moon, Melee, Deafeye, Le Grand Derangement, and the book series that I listed on the "ABout Me" page, before. |

Le Grand Derangement: Le Grand Derangement is a band that plays French "pop" music out of Nova Scotia. They're really really good. My favorite song by them is called "Entend-tu le Violon" - "Listen to the Violin". Their album is called "Danse Dans Les Flammes" - "Dancing in the Flames". You can most likely find it at a place like CDNOW.com or something if you look hard enough. I'm also working on getting my mother or my French III teacher to take us to one of their concerts... They have a Tour Dates page on their "new" Flash website, so you can see the dates for yourself.
(The picture of them above is a link to their homepage.)
Sailor Moon: Sailor Moon is a TV show about a girl named Tsukino Usagi (to make it easy, they called her Bunny or Serena in the English version), who finds out that she is a crime fighting "super hero" who is trying to save Crystal Tokyo from the Negaverse. She has friends who get into it, too: Amy, Mina, Raye, Lita, Michiru, Haruka, Setsuna and Chibi-Usa...and the cats taht can talk: Luna, Artemis and Diana. I love this show for some reason... I dunno; it just got to me. There is a video library that they have too, which you can find at stores like FYE or Suncoast. |

"Wheel of Time"

|
Seal of The Dark One's Tomb |
The "Wheel of Time" series is a series of books by the author Robert Jordan. These books take you from a small village called the Two Rivers (formerally called Manetheren), with a small group of people: Rand, Nynaeve, Egwene, Mat (Matrim), and Perrin, and thier "guides", Lan and Moiraine, to other places like Tar Valon (The place where the White Tower is, where they train the Aes Sedai) and Camelyn (where Rand al'Thor falls over the wall of the castle and meets Queen Morgase's children, Elayne, Gaywn and Galad). Creatures like trollocs(also called twisted ones) and fades (called halfmen, or neverborns) follow the characters, and they make some new friends along the way. Really good series. Check out the site that's listed in the links page, NOW!
